Is FM Talk Radio in NYC done?

It could be.

There is a countdown clock on the 92.3 Free FM page.

From today's Daily News: "Starting as early as today, 92.3 FM may no longer be the land of the Free. Several well-placed radio sources say CBS Radio is dropping the edgy "hot talk" Free-FM format at WFNY (92.3 FM) and switching back to contemporary rock music."

I guess we'll see. Tune in to 92.3 FM at 5 PM tonight, thats when the countdown clock will zero out.
