It's all happening on 31st Street

Her dog stops right on the "hip and homey", "vibrant and colourful" yet very small welcome rug outside the Roger Hotel and squats. This is why I love dogs.
  
  
• 31st and 5th Avenue... There's a little Korean lady I see everyday on my way home. She stands like a stone on the corner against the grain of rush hour with a sandwich board eloquently boasting: "Internet $1". She has flyers that no one ever takes. When I first saw her she had a visor on and later a big straw hat. A few days later she had sunglasses and then she graduated to those bigger Terminator/glaucoma surgery sunglasses. I keep thinking one day I'm gonna pass her by her and she'll be wearing a welders helmet.
