Maxine Nightingale

Found this awesome cheesy Maxine Nightingale montage.

"Right Back Where We Started From" went as far as #2 in the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 in early 1976, and peaked at #8 in the UK Singles Chart. Maxine had a few other Top 40 hits and released an album a year until 1980, when she decided to retire from regular recordings.

While compiling a greatest hits album in 1982, she performed the duet "Turn to Me" with Jimmy Ruffin (David's bro) which entered the U.S. R&B Top 20.

Maxine Nightingale is from London and she still performs now and then.
