ATM stands for Automated Teller Machine. But still most of us say "I've gotta go to the ATM machine". Wait, you've gotta go to the Automated Teller Machine Machine?!
Wrong.
Just say "ATM" and lose the extra "machine".
For instance, "I've gotta go to the ATM to get some cash" would be fine.
