Did DeBarge hire a new publicist?

I have a soft spot in my heart for DeBarge. I'm not sure why but it probably has something to do with The Last Dragon and the Alpine.

Anyway, over the past week 2 DeBarge's were arrested. That's right, two!

Jonathan Arthur "Chico" DeBarge was busted on August 30 for having drugs & cash in his Toyota Camry. Who's holding Donna now?!?

And that was only 4 days after police arrested Chico's older brother El DeBarge for outstanding domestic violence warrants on August 26.


Chico DeBarge began a musical career of his own with Motown in the mid-80's, but was imprisoned for drug charges. After his release in the mid-90's, Chico returned to Motown to continue his musical career. I'm sensing a pattern.

El is still in jail for those bum warrants and his little bro Chico is being held on $30,000 bail.
