Police are investigating the death of a 36-year-old woman found by a roommate in her Crosby Street apartment. The woman was found dead with two small stab wounds. Her roommate had been away over the Labour Day weekend and apparently neighbours had noticed a smell.

No one in the neighbourhood seems to know the victim who was reportedly staying with an ex-boyfriend after having issues with a more recent boyfriend. Police also said there were no signs of forced entry.

The Post reports that the boyfriend is suspected: "The boyfriend had been arrested several weeks earlier for allegedly stabbing the woman in the neck with a samurai sword, claiming she had given him AIDS."

Yeah, you might wanna give the boyfriend a call.
