There's a listening party tonight at the Beauty Bar for PJ Harvey's new album, White Chalk. I find the concept of "listening parties" quite amusing. I dunno about you, but when I wanna really check out the subtle nuances of someones new record, the best place for that sort of thing would be in a noisy bar where it can be pumped out over some cheap, randomly placed speakers.
