Sorry, Mum!

It was before 7 A.M. and my mum needed to know how to write "Day of the Dead" in proper Spanish. She was giving a Thank You note to a friend in a beautiful Frida Kahlo card. I think the friend is Spanish, too.

I think I told her "Dia des Muertos", which I now know translates to "I give dead people"

But the correct translation for "Day of the Dead" is actually "Dia de los Muertos".

Then again I've got "Amores Perros" on my wrist which in literal translation means "Loves Dogs" and not "Love's a bitch".

Now my poor mum is giving a friend a card that says "Here, have a dead person".
