Sleepy, bucolic Bay Ridge was ablaze with high-octane pre-holiday action yesterday!

Apparently the old Kleinfeld's on 82nd and Fifth, which is now a Commerce Bank, was robbed. Dudes love robbing Commerce Banks. I wonder why?

O, and earlier in the day, some dude took a header off the 69th Street Pier. I guess he was fed up with the price of lobster tails in Bay Ridge and either couldn't take it anymore, or wanted to catch his own.
