Is Steve Sick?

Yesterday at the rip roarin' Worldwide Developers Conference in San Francisco a gaunt Steve Jobs announced innovations to the Mac OS X Leopard operating system and a long-awaited update to the iPhone. But a day later it seems more people are discussing Steve's health rather than the new gadgets.

Responding to a questions about the irreplaceable corporate leaders health an Apple spokeswoman said Jobs was hit with a “common bug” in recent weeks but he still felt it was important to participate in the Apple conference. The spokeswoman said he’s now on the mend with antibiotics.

That being said, Steve's health is often the topic of talk and rumors because he was diagnosed with a rare form of pancreatic cancer 4 years ago, for which he underwent surgery that Apple said was successful however Apple didn’t tell anyone Jobs was sick until after he was in recovery.

This is newsworthy because not only has Jobs become a pop culture icon he is widely considered irreplaceable at Apple.

Well, I hope he's OK, but dude definitely looks like he could use a sandwich.
