O, Tatum. What Ever Am I To Do With You?

Academy Award-winner Tatum O'Neal was busted last night buying crack outside her luxury high-rise on Clinton Street.

Arrested along with Tatum was 33-year-old Alan Garcia, who is believed to be the possible dealer. Why's it always gotta be the Puerto Ricans, maaaan?

The 44-year-old actress told cops she was doing research for an upcoming role, and that she pleaded to be let off the hook when the drugs were discovered. That's a great excuse, actually. If she came up with that on the spot, good for her!

In her autobiography Tatum admitted to all sorts of drug use especially tying on a tight one following her stormy divorce to tennis tantrum star John McEnroe back in 1992 but she never mentioned doing crack.

In 1974, Tatum O'Neal became the youngest person ever to win an Academy Award, a record that still stands as of today. She won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress and the Golden Globe Award for New Star Of The Year for her performance in Paper Moon.

O'Neal played the role of Addie Loggins, a child con artist being tutored by a Depression-era grifter played by her father, Ryan. She was 10 years old at the time she won the award.
