To dramatise a documentary?

Why are we remaking Grey Gardens with Drew Barrymore? Was there something wrong with the documentary? Was it not timelessly insane? Was it not perfect? Why is Michael Sucsy dramatising a documentary? Shouldn't it be, and isn't it usually, the other way around?

Hollywood is so fucking tapped for ideas and so afraid of producing an original movie that now we are going back and dramatizing documentaries. Now that we've exhausted every goddamn comic book superhero and exploited every old TV show from the 70's, now its time to start remaking documentaries as dramas.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Fin.
