If A Tree Falls In A Forest...

Making his triumphant return from radio Siberia, we've just learned the Crypt Keeper in a cowboy hat Don Imus has inked a 5-year BLOCKBUSTER deal with the only TV station that would have him: RFD-TV. Uhhhh... who? I think its the same channel Uncle Floyd used to be on. All you need is a wire hanger, some tinfoil, a UHF receiver and some shoe polish to tune it in.

Imus, who returns to the radio airwaves Dec. 3 on WABC 770 AM will debut the same day on the 7-year-old cable and satellite television station that caters to viewers with homes on the range, the Rural Media Group, Inc.

Ooooooooh weee that Imus is mmm mmmm goooo-oooood! Ain't he, Rufus?

RFD, with expansive studios in Nashville, has a mostly rural audience that receives programming like "The Cattle Show," "National Tractor Pulling" and the "Largent and Sons Hereford Cattle Auction."

BWHAHAHAHHAHA! Wow.

It's a far cry from the previous incarnation of "Imus in the Morning" which was simulcast on MSNBC. MSNBC dumped the show shortly after Imus' nappy-headed-ho's comment.

these cats are PUMPED for Imus TV

Patrick Gottsch, founder and president of the Rural Media Group, says "Don's passion and understanding of rural America fits in so well with our ongoing effort to bridge city and country folks with this channel." Uh, yeah.

RFD-TV launched in December 2000, billed as the first 24/7 television network dedicated to rural America.

"Don't shoot, the farmers love me! "

"He's right; We do! Don's passion and understanding of rural America fits in so well with our ongoing effort to bridge city and country folks!"
