"He paced around the elevator like a bug trapped in a box..."

Last week, Nick Paumgarten wrote an article in the New Yorker about elevators and told the eight year old tale of Nicholas White, a Business Week production manager, who was trapped in an elevator in the McGraw-Hill building for 41 hours.

Everyone started talking about it again and after a time-lapsed video of White's nearly 2 days trapped in a cell was posted online, media outlets caught on and began calling it an "Internet sensation" often failing to mention the clip was from 1999.
