Meet The Duggars

Say hello to Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar.

They are conservative Baptists who endorse the Quiverfull movement and the teachings of that loon Bill Gothard.

The distinguishing viewpoint of the Quiverfull movement, or rather the Quiverfull method, is to "eagerly receive children as blessings from god", eschewing all forms of contraception, including natural family planning, sterilization and pulling out. Therefore Jim Bob Duggar and his wife Michelle have 17 children; 17 spotless, white, hyperreligious interchangeable robot children.

And if you're playing along at home this means Michelle Duggar cranks out about one kid a year and has done so since 1988 like an actual child factory. So basically every time The Duggars fuck they have a kid. They currently have ten sons and seven daughters, who have all been given names which begin with the letter J.

But wait, theres more!

This morning Michelle Duggar announced on the Today Show that she is pregnant with their 18th child! AGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Michelle, who's been pregnant for 126 months - or 1o 1/2 years of her life, said the couple would like to have more girls, since they love the ruffles and lace. But, of course!

God Does Not Want 16 Kids: Arkansas mom gives birth to a whole freakin' baseball team. How deeply should you cringe? {SF Gate}

Apparently your boy "Jim Bob" was a legislator in the Arkansas House of Representative but now he's a real estate agent and owns several commercial properties in his town.

Jim Bob says despite his 18 kids he and his wife live debt-free, “the fruit of a financial freedom seminar” he attended years ago.

Wow.

Let's see, these people decide to have 18 kids, yet they can care for them, provide for them, educate them and keep a very substantial looking roof over their heads. And your problem is????? Is it because they're white? That line struck me as being quite odd. As if there were something wrong with being one of 18 WHITE kids. Where's your article about the black and hispanic baby-factories that churn out one drug addicted kid after another, all in the name of collecting a bigger welfare check, all a drain on society and our tax dollars? I guess I missed that one. Look, my wife and I have three WHITE kids. For us, that was plenty. But for you to rag on these people for having what is admittedly a huge family, and never mentioning the fact that they seem to have a tremendous quality of life is shallow and short sighted. Maybe you'd be happy if they were on welfare.

Obviously they are doing fine. How many families can live in a nice house and be debt free with just two kids, let alone 18? Leave them alone. They are obviously doing their job well as parents and are actually raising decent kids that won't spend most of their in prison, which is something you can't say about most inner city kids.

@ Bob courto
wtf are talking about? the problem isnt that theyre white. have you heard of the over population issue? your the shallow one you ignorant (most likely) white trash, racist piece of shit..

To anonymous:

His point wasn't the race card. Maybe you should re read what he wrote and reconsider your thoughts. You should probably also re read what the artical put about the children being white robots or some shit. Don't jump to conclusions. He was only commenting to the comment stated in the article. Now for the Duggars, yea there may be an over population issue, but if them having 19 kids doesn't affect you, then who cares. The over population issue really needs to be addressed to lose living off everyone elses contributed tax dollars for the state assistance that takes care of those children.

The overpopulation problem affects everyone. That's why it's called overpopulation otherwise it wouldn't be "over" or a problem. As the population increases is the IQ decreasing? Really people.

I am a christian and do not support quiverfull as such if it means that the only way to be a true christian is to be quiverful...that goes against the Bible which actually says the only way to be christian is to accept the free gift of God- Jesus death on the cross to pay for our sins--something called grace- which we do not deserve nor can we earn it. period!!!

If a christian family wants a large family that is up to them as long as they can afford it, but unfortunately some of these families go overboard on how to apply christian mandates and teachings to the family, mainly saying and teaching their daughters that woman are only good for motherhood and house keeping. The daughter has no choice in her life if she wants college or career!!! The bible never said that!!!! If it did, preachers from hundreds of years ago would have pushed it as the only way to live a christian life into modern times. How did missionaries from the mid 1900's miss this "truth" when they decided to have only a few kids, leave them for others to raise as they went into dangerous mission fields to spread God? Was Peter Marshall, chaplain to US Senate wrong for preaching a relationship with God through Jesus instead of quiverfull? (he only had the one son)
